SCI TV - Visual Exploration of Simulated and Measured Blood Flow Data

In this talk we present image analysis, visualization and interaction techniques to explore blood flow data, resulting from either CFD simulations or MR-PCA measurements. This research is motivated by the attempt to better understand the interaction between the morphology and hemodynamics in vascular diseases, such as aneurysms. We describe the extraction of anatomic landmarks, illustrative rendering and constrained 3D widgets to explore the flow in cerebral aneurysms.
