BackgroundI earned my B.Tech. degree in Information Technology from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, India in 2006. As part of my capstone project, I worked on an exploratory research tool for signing multi-lingual text using the Indian Sign Language for the hearing impaired, by rendering it as a 3D animation. I then worked for 2 years as a Software Engineer with Infosys Technologies Ltd. in India. Current ResponsibilitiesI am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computing (Graphics track) and also working as a Graduate Research Assistant with Dr. Guido Gerig in the area of Medical Image Analysis. The work involves developing tools for a statistically-sound, graphical representation for diffusion anisotropy in fibers in the brain's white matter using Diffusion Tensor Imaging. Research InterestsApart from Image Processing and Analysis, Algorithms always fascinate me. I am also interested in Computer Vision, Shape Analysis and Geometric Modelling. |
