Background

I graduated from Shivaji University (kolhapur), India, in 2005, with Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, followed it by Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, with specialization in Image Processing, from University of Nevada Las Vegas (2007).

Then, I worked as a Research Imaging Programmer at Nevada Cancer Institute where my tasks include MR image acquisition and processing along with Brain Image analysis.

Current Responsibilities

Joined as a Ph. D. Student in Computer Science from Fall '09. I am working under Dr. Ross Whitaker on Brain Image Analysis.

Research Interests

My research interests include Image Registration and Segmentation along with their applications in Medical Image Processing.
