Background

Since I received my first BS in Chemical Engineering from Inha University, S. Korea, 1993, I finished the second BS in Computer Science with a Mathematics minor from University of Utah, 2000, and a MS in Computational Eng. and Science from University of Utah, 2004. Between each degree, I worked as a lieutenant, chemical engineer, and software engineer. At the end of 1996, I had also stayed at a hospital more than two months and learned how to live in a wheelchair. :) In 2010, I started to pursue a PhD.

Current Responsibilities

I am working on an image registration research with Dr. Whitaker.

Research Interests

My interests lie in broad scientific problems such as Image Processing/Analysis and Scientific Computing
