Designed especially for neurobiologists, FluoRender is an interactive tool for multi-channel fluorescence microscopy data visualization and analysis.
Large scale visualization on the Powerwall.
BrainStimulator is a set of networks that are used in SCIRun to perform simulations of brain stimulation such as transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and magnetic transcranial stimulation (TMS).
Developing software tools for science has always been a central vision of the SCI Institute.

Bachelors degree from the University of Utah in Computer Science.

Current Responsibilities

Developing AngioFE, a plugin for FEBio that simulates the growth of blood vessels within an extracellular matrix. My primary responsibilities are the development and maintenance of this plugin. Some of my contributions to this plugin include: parallelizing vessel growth and branching, greatly reducing the output files size of the plugin(compression ratios of 20-50 in common workloads), and supporting new finite element types.
