Designed especially for neurobiologists, FluoRender is an interactive tool for multi-channel fluorescence microscopy data visualization and analysis.
Large scale visualization on the Powerwall.
BrainStimulator is a set of networks that are used in SCIRun to perform simulations of brain stimulation such as transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and magnetic transcranial stimulation (TMS).
Developing software tools for science has always been a central vision of the SCI Institute.

Background

  • Application Support Engineer, MathWorks, 2016
  • PhD, Computer Engineering, University of Florida, 2015
  • MS, Computer Engineering, University of Florida, 2014
  • BS, Computer Engineering, Vishwakarma Institute of Technology at Pune, India, 2010
  • Software Engineering Intern, Nvidia at Pune, India, 2009

Current Responsibilities

In my research projects, I study the effect of uncertainty in data processing parameters on visualization of scientific data, such as brain imaging (CT and MRI) and climate data. Moreover, I like to analyze topological variations in isosurface visualization (marching cubes) when sampled data is uncertain.

Research Interests

  • Scientific Visualization
  • Uncertainty Quantification
  • Statistical Analysis
