Background
Amir is in his first year PhD at the School of Computing. Prior to joining the University of Utah, he worked for two years and a half at a computer vision company developing an automatic license plate recognition system and publishing a paper based on the achievements. He graduated from Sharif University of Technology with a BS in Electrical Engineering, Digital Systems branch.
Current Responsibilities
Working under the supervision of Dr. Tasdizen on the application of deep neural networks on google street images and medical images.
