Here are some higlights of research projects to which I have the pleasure of contributing. See my papers for more detailed information. Note: this page is really out of date, embarassingly so. Please ignore for the moment!! Note that most of the images you will see came directly or with minor touch up from map3d, the program we have developed for interactive viewing of three-dimensional datasets. We first released map3d into the public domain in September, 2000 as part of the CIBC Center for Bioelectric Field Modeling, Simulation, and Visualization. Ischemia during PTCA occurs in patients and we have developed some approaches to localize the electrical consequences.
Quan Ni's web site is also a good source of research results and information.
Cardiac mapping is an technique we use for most of our studies at the CVRTI.
Estimation of cardiac activation from venous catheter measurements is another project with potential clinical impact.
The SCI Institute is also a major part of my research activities.
