Background

I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Utah and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, India. Prior to my current role, I worked as a Senior Research Associate at Keywords Studios for one year and as a Software Developer at eQ Technologic in India for three years, where I gained strong industry experience building and maintaining software systems.

I have expertise in full-stack development, including modern web technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Node.js, as well as backend frameworks like Flask and Django. My experience also includes working with databases, developing scalable data-driven applications, and implementing efficient software solutions using best practices in testing, deployment, and performance optimization.

Current Responsibilities

I contribute to the National Data Platform (NDP) to democratize data access by building full-stack features using React, TypeScript, Flask, Elasticsearch, and PostgreSQL, enabling scalable dataset search and visualization. I design and optimize data workflows and database integrations, improving query performance and reducing system latency, while managing containerized deployments with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

I collaborate closely with faculty and researchers to translate requirements into production-ready APIs and intuitive user interfaces. I also contribute to system architecture, testing, and the development of maintainable, high-quality code.

Research Interests

My research interests include scientific computing, data-intensive application development, and scalable software systems that support advanced research workflows. I focus on web-based visualization, high-performance data processing, and designing user-friendly computational tools for researchers.

I am also interested in improving software development practices in research environments, optimizing system performance, and exploring emerging technologies in cloud computing, distributed systems, and data management to enhance research productivity and reproducibility.
