I am a Junior in the Biomedical Engineering department at the University of Utah. I love painting, cooking, and hiking with my boyfriend in my free time. I hope to become a cardiothoracic surgeon and will be taking the MCAT at the end of the summer.
I am working on the Lung Mechanics Research Project in collaboration with Dr. Mendoza’s lab. In this project, I am investigating the biomechanical response of early lung tumors and their development. This involves computationally modeling the lungs and PS samples.
