I am a pursuing a PhD in Computing (expected completion in 2022) at Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute (SCI), University of Utah supervised by Ross Whitaker, Ladislav Kavan and Shireen Elhabian. I earned my Bachelors in Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai in 2016
I am interested in machine learning systems with emphasis on self-supervised and low resource learning, probabilistic modeling, explainable AI and, healthcare-centric AI. My PhD research focus on re-imagning pipelines for statistical shape modeling with modern deep learning approaches, with flexible and intepretable design to be used by clinicians, biologists and medical practitioners.
Rest of time I spend obsessing over graphic novels and books, playing board games, or making some music (my soundcloud)
