Current Research

Dr. Livnat current research is focused on Information Visualization in general and visual correlation in particular. He is the chief software architecture and team leader of the VisAlert project, a visual correlation system for network intrusion detection based of a grant from the intelligent community. His next research focus aims at the application of visual correlation approach (VisAlert) to other areas such is Genomics and BioSuvellience such as detection of early epidemic spreads.
