I am looking for motivated and enthusiastic students who are interested in conducting advanced research in machine learning, image understanding, and statistical analysis.
Ideal students need to have a strong mathematical background and a background in image processing, machine learning, and probability theory. A working knowledge of programming in C++ is mandatory and a working knowledge of programming in Python and/or Matlab is preferable. Technical writing would be considered a huge plus.
If you are interested, please email me your transcripts, samples of publications and/or report on one project that you did in your studies, curriculum vitae including your course work (all graduate courses you have taken and planning to take), previous experiences, GPA, and the contact information for at least three references.
Important: Please apply to the MS/PhD program in School of Computing at the University of Utah.
