Background

Jixian Li received his BS in computer science and mathematics (2015), MS in computer science (2017), and Ph.D. in computer science (2022) from the University of Arizona. His research focuses on scalar field visualization and using deep learning and computational topology to assist scalar field visualization. His dissertation studied deep learning approaches for exploring collections of visual features of scalar fields.
