Kelly Hermans has a collective 20 years of experience in journalism, communications, and marketing, most recently for Huntsman Cancer Foundation. At Huntsman, she managed content for a print and digital fundraising campaign that netted $1 million annually for cancer research. She was also part of the team that opened the $178 million Kathryn F. Kirk Center for Comprehensive Cancer Care and Women’s Cancers. Previously an East Coaster, Kelly earned journalism degrees from the University of Georgia and the University of Maryland, where she held a Carnegie-Knight reporting fellowship. She enjoys all things storytelling, especially writing, editing, and graphic design. When she’s not working, she gets outside as much as possible. She enjoys exploring Utah and the Mountain West with husband Tucker, rescue mutt Buddy, and the family’s newest addition, daughter Naomi, born in December 2023.
