Remi Sondaz - Graduate Research Assistant
supervisor Dr. Tamara Bidone
Background
I am a French international student who completed an Undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at McGill University in Montreal, Canada from 2018-2022.
As an undergrad at McGill University, I did research in Professor Dostie's lab studying how HOTAIRM1 variants regulate the HOXA gene cluster, leading to various types of lymphomas. My research focused on determining which portions of the HOTAIRM1 exons were responsible for the regulation of HOXA gene expression.
Current Responsibilities
I am working in Professor Bidone's lab as a graduate research assistant studying how integrin binding to ligands regulates the area of lamellipodium protrusion.
Research Interests
- Actin dynamics
- Lamellipodium Protrusion
- Integrin Adhesions
