Background
I received my BS in Computer Science (with a minor in Mathematics) from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in May 2025, where I was supervised by Dr. Vipin Kumar for my honors thesis. My honors thesis was titled “Deep Learning to Address Data Sparsity in Climate Change Monitoring”.
Consequently, I joined the University of Utah to pursue a PhD from the school of computing under the supervision of Dr. Mike Kirby & Dr. Shandian Zhe and joined the scientific computing and imaging institute as a graduate research assistant. I am broadly interested in AI for science & engineering, scientific machine learning, and the theoretical foundations of machine learning.
