Designed especially for neurobiologists, FluoRender is an interactive tool for multi-channel fluorescence microscopy data visualization and analysis.
Deep brain stimulation
BrainStimulator is a set of networks that are used in SCIRun to perform simulations of brain stimulation such as transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and magnetic transcranial stimulation (TMS).
Developing software tools for science has always been a central vision of the SCI Institute.

Background

I graduated from the University of Chicago with a BS in Mathematics in 2002, and proceeded to obtain both an MS in Statistics and an MS in Computer Science at DePaul University. After completing school I worked in the financial industry at Quantitative Risk Management in Chicago, primarily involved with the cash flow analytics engine.

In 2011, I moved to Utah with my girlfriend as she embarked on her medical career, as a family medicine resident at the U.

Current Responsibilities

SCIRun, specifically conversion from Tcl-Tk to the Qt Framework.
