Background
- Masters in Computing, expected Fall 2020, University of Utah
- Masters in Statistics, Fall 2016, University of Utah
- Masters in Molecular Biology, Spring 2001, Birla Institute of Technology and Science
- Bachelor in Pharmacy, JSS College of Pharmacy
- Worked as Research Associate and Biostatistician for 15 years in breast and prostate cancer research focused on prognostic molecular and clinical risk assessment
Current Responsibilities
My current focus is detecting landmarks in x-ray images using deep neural networks and quantifying the uncertainties of the predictions. I am developing a statistical shape model for this purpose that is robust to limited and incomplete data.
Research Interests
- Generative image modeling
- Medical image analysis
- Statistical shape analysis
- Bayesian deep learning
- Cox regression analysis
